Star Trek Fleet Command has had a full slate in early September, closing out a Labor Day event and now retooling one of its marquee PvP events to be more accessible across time zones.

Infinite Incursions Returns to a 24-Hour Format

The bigger structural change is to Infinite Incursions, which returns on September 12 running as a full 24-hour event rather than a shorter regional window. Scopely says the goal is to let more commanders participate around their own schedules while still keeping regional start times aligned with when each region is typically most active.

Start times are staggered by region: 9AM UTC for APAC, 4PM UTC for EU, and 9PM UTC for the US, each running for a full day before handing off. For an event built around fleet-versus-fleet incursions and territory pushes, giving players a full day's window instead of a tight few hours should ease some of the scheduling friction that's long been a complaint around high-stakes PvP events in mobile 4X games.

Commanders who've sat out previous iterations because the timing never lined up with their availability now have a much wider door to walk through. It's a small structural tweak, but one that speaks to how Scopely has been iterating on its event calendar based on player feedback.

Labor Day Delivered Daily Login Value

Just before that, the game ran its Labor Day event from September 4 through 7, aimed at commanders at Operations level 20 and above. Each day offered its own themed SMS event, gifts, and rewards, anchored by a Labor Day Supply Run on Heroic difficulty that ran for the full event window.

The event also came with its own Labor Day Store, stocked using Labor Day Tokens earned through play. A portion of spent tokens was refunded with each purchase, effectively stretching a player's token supply further than a straight spend-and-done store would allow — a small but welcome design choice for anyone trying to clear out multiple store tiers.

What It Means Going Forward

Together, these changes point to a live-service game actively tuning its event cadence rather than just running the same loop on repeat. The Labor Day event gave short-term login incentives, while the Infinite Incursions rework signals a longer-term shift toward more flexible, less exclusionary event windows. Scopely has also teased broader plans for the rest of 2026, though specifics beyond the event calendar remain under wraps for now.

For active commanders, the practical takeaway is simple: mark September 12 for Infinite Incursions and check your fleet's readiness ahead of time, since a full 24-hour window still rewards players who show up early and often, not just those who happen to be online at the right hour.
